1 small chopped oinion, chopped
3 tablespoons olive oil
1-1 1/4 pound ground beef
2-3 cloved garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cam tomato sauce (8 oz)
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup pimento-stuffed green olives, sliced
2 teaspoons capers (optional)

Preparation: Add the oil to a large skillet and set over medium-heat. Saute the onion and garlic for 1 minute, then stir in the ground beef. Brown the meat for several mintues on all sides stirring occasionally, until it is well done (no pink meat). Drain the fat from the skillet. Stir in the salt and black pepper, cumin powder and tomato sauce. Cook semi-covered for another minute over medium heat. Stir in the olive slices and capers. Cover and cook for another 2 minutes. Serve with white rice. Makes 3 servings.
